Port Orford's hidden gem
Fresh espresso, cold-pressed juices, and a secret underground pub — all under one roof on Oregon Street.
Mr. Ed's began as a small espresso corner in downtown Port Orford — a spot for locals who wanted better coffee than the gas station lot could offer. What grew from that was something unexpected: a community hub that transforms as the day turns.
By afternoon, the espresso machine cools and the juicer takes over. By evening, the lights drop, music swells, and a staircase behind the counter reveals an underground pub — a dimly lit, intimate space that feels decades older than it is.
We don't chase trends. We pour what tastes right, serve what our neighbors ask for, and keep the door open a little later than most.
Espresso · Fresh Juice · Underground Pub
What lies beneath Mr. Ed's is not a gimmick — it's the reason people come back. A narrow staircase leads to a low-ceilinged room with exposed brick, warm amber light, and a bar that's been serving Port Orford long before the espresso machine arrived upstairs.
It's loud on Friday nights and quiet on Wednesday afternoons. It's where regulars hold court at the corner table and where first-timers discover that the best pubs in small towns are the ones nobody tells you about.
